Most know of Brian Auger as the inimitable Hammond Organ sound of Jazz/Rock, but long before that he was making a name for himself winning Melody Maker's Jazz Poll as a piano player. Brian’s signature driving style was developed through his early years playing Jazz in an early 60's swinging London Jazz scene at Ronnie Scott's and many other hot spots of the time. After a Grammy nomination & millions of albums sold, Brian is going "Back To The Roots" to his first true love.

Jim Self/John Chiodini CD release w/the NY Tuba Six Mon., April 23, 8pm @ Club Bonafide in NYC

Veteran tuba player, composer & conductor Jim Self and legendary guitarist John Chiodini have joined their creative talent on their recent duo project, "Floating in Winter", released in late 2017. They will be performing a very special concert for one night only in New York City at Club Bonafide. The evening will feature many of the tracks from the album plus more. They will be joined by a very special group of tuba players, the New York Tuba Six, performing the arrangements of Roger Neumann. Jim Self, tuba player on over 1500 movie scores, was the voice of the mothership in John Williams' score the Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind. He has 14 solo CDs. John Chiodini, LA studio & jazz guitarist, played and recorded with Peggy Lee, Maynard Ferguson, Boston Pops, and did the "Unforgettable" world tour with Natalie Cole. www.jimself.com

Buzz Wizards is fronted by guitarist extraordinaire Toshi Yanagi of the Jimmy Kimmel band. As a potent & dynamic rock ensemble capturing experimental, ambient and progressive elements, the band features legendary drummer Steve Ferrone (Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, AWB), Jorgen Carlsson on bass (Gov't Mule), Fred Kron (Colin Hay, Dweezil Zappa) on keyboards, and Mini Carlsson on vocals and guitar. BUZZY LINHART will make a rare L.A. appearance together with singer/songwriter/keyboardist Alfred Johnson & a full band including Alicia McCracken Morgan on Keys, Alexis Sklarevski on bass, Jim Barley on drums, Buzzy on vibes, Larry John McNally and more. Buzzy is a celebrated American rock performer, composer, multi-instrumentalist musician, actor & one of the progenitors of the Singer-Songwriter Movement of the 60's & 70's sharing a kind of psychedelic folk style. His songs have been performed & recorded by BETTE MIDLER (he co-wrote her signature song, "Friends" with Mark Klingman), BARRY MANILOW & CARLY SIMON. He has collaborated with Carole Bayer Sager, Jake & the Family Jewels, LaBelle, Barry Manilow, John Sebastian, Mother's Finest, Moogy Klingman & many more.
