Freebo & Alice Howe CD release @McCabe's in Santa Monica Saturday, May 18, 8:00pm, doors 7:30pm

McCabe’s welcomes to its iconic stage two soulful singer-songwriters... one a venerable music icon, and the other a talented newcomer. The evening with Freebo & Alice Howe celebrates the release of Alice’s debut album VISIONS, produced by Freebo (Bonnie Raitt 10 years, CSN, Maria Muldaur, Loudon Wainwright, Dr. John) and recorded in Bakersfield, CA with an all-star band. Freebo will open with a set of his own songs backed by his Fabulous Friends band (John Thomas on keys; Fuzzbee Morse on lead guitar/flute; David Goodstein on percussion, and Chad Watson on bass), later picking up the fretless bass (and maybe even the tuba?) to accompany Alice as she performs songs off the new album with their stellar band. Come out to hear two generations share their musical Visions in this unique evening of collaboration.
